Some Say Social Media Disconnects Us. I Say...
On our KazCM website, we published an article titled, “I Feel Pretty Connected Right Now”. It’s a story about a take that so many have—social media is disconnecting us.
Here we were in my office in Charlotte, North Carolina and in the room was:
Mike Elkins, an attorney who lives in Miami, Florida. The Founder of MLE Law.
Mike is an individual I met two years ago on a social media app called Anchor. Anchor is now a podcasting app. (by the way, “you should have a podcast”)
Anyway…
And John Priore, a content marketer who works for us at KazCM and who first scored an internship with us on Twitter. Because of his work in the internship, he eventually turned that into a full-time job."

This article features: John Priore, Glenn Boothe, Nick Shaw
Take notice of:
How one of our connection points was sports. Yes, sports. Which is a big reason why SportsEpreneur exists.
How Mike is making a ruckus in the legal industry. Yes, attorneys can create content too. I use that word “ruckus”, by the way, because Seth Godin, an author, marketer, and leader I admire, points out how important it is to make a ruckus in the markets.
How this connection is not about ROI even though so many only focus on what they get in return. Relationships and brand matters.
